BJP names candidate for Thiruvambadi by-election

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 11 (UNI) The BJP today decided to contest the December four Assembly by-election from Thiruvambadi and nominated Yuva Morcha leader Girish Thevally as the party's candidate, a release from the BJP State Committee office here said.

A member of the Yuva Morcha State Executive, Mr Thevally had unsuccessfully contested the 2001 Assembly election from the same constituency, the release added.
