SP orders to stop salary of 21 officers

Bokaro, Nov 7 (UNI) Taking stern action against twenty one police officers of this district for delay in investigation of cases related to unnatural deaths, the Suprintendent of Police (SP) ordered to stop their salary.

SP Manvinder Singh Bhatia here said today instructions were given to all the officers for quick disposal of about 455 cases of unnatural deaths pending.

Mr Singh said the officers had not given charge to their successors which was also a reason for delay in disposal of cases.

Qatar Airways to add 7 new routes to its network

New Delhi, Nov 7: Qatar Airways today announced an expansion of its international network with the addition of seven new routes.The airline will add seven cities from Europe, Africa, Asia and North America to its routes over the next 12 months. It also confirmed it will take delivery of the first of 20 Boeing 777s next year to operate long haul routes from the carrier's Doha hub.Qatar Airways will begin flying to the tropical island.....

Man killed when lorry rams into tea-stall

Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 7 (UNI) A 50-year-old man was killed and two others injured when a lorry rammed into a tea-stall at Neytragunta here this morning. Police sources said the mishap occured when the speeding lorry, went out of control and hit a minivan, before ramming the stall. One person died on the spot when he was knocked down by the lorry. The deceased was identified as Krishnama Naidu. The lorry driver absconded.....
