Pondy Govt to start varsity: Rangasamy

Puducherry, Nov 7 (UNI) The Puducherry Administration would start a university in the state sector here, Chief Minister N Rangasamy said today.

Participating in the validictory function of the two-day intensive training workshop on "Psychological experiments and testing," Mr Rangasamy said the union territory had various kinds of colleges at present.

He exhorted teachers to understand the mental frame of the student and take classes accordingly. Education should be inculcated in a simple way so that the students show interest in learning.

Teaching was a noble profession and teachers should understand the students' desire for certain changes in the system of education and take classes accordingly, he said.

Guwahati limping back to normal
