Orissa BJP leader dies in road accident

Angul, Nov 7 (UNI) Angul block BJP unit president Dayanidhi Mohapatra was killed along with his driver while two other leaders were seriously injured in a road accident near Baunrpal, about 36 kms from here today.

Police said Mr Mohapatra and the driver were killed on the spot when the vehicle they were travelling in had a head on collision with another vehicle.

Angul United Credit Cooperative President and former Angul district BJP President Saroj Mishra and another BJP activist Dillip Pradhan were seriously injured in the accident and shifted to the S C B Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack.

Police said the BJP leaders were on their way to Bhubaneswar to participate in the election of party president when the mishap took place.

Rajnath sends MPs team to visit Guwahati blasts

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) BJP President Rajnath Singh today set up a two member Parliamentry team comprising by S S Ahluwalia and Ajay Maroo to visit and submit an on-the-spot report on Sunday's Guwahati blast that have claimed over 16 lives. RLD accuses UPA of being ''anti-Muslim''

Basti, Nov 7 (UNI) The Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) today slammed the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government at the Centre for being anti-Muslim.
