One killed by speeding car

Hyderabad, Nov 7 (UNI) One person was killed and three seriously injured in an accident near the State Secretariat in the city today.

Police said a speeding car proceeding from Lakdikapul towards the Secretariat hit the four persons when they were crossing the road.

The injured were shifted to the Osmania General Hospital. The car driver was arrested and case registered.

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) Elections to the Constituent Assembly in Nepal will be held in next May-June, Deputy Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli said today. ''The final dates are yet to be con firmed but the election schedule shall be in May-June 2007,'' Mr Oli, who is also Nepal's Foreign Minister and currently visiting India, told UNI on the sidelines of a function here. Bangalore, Nov 7 (UNI) A group of top space scientists and technocrats of the country today unanimously resolved on India embarking on a manned mission to space.
