Moderate quake in Pakistan

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) An earthquake of moderate intensity shook Southern Pakistan this evening.

The quake, which measured 5.2 on the Richter Scale, occured at 1802 hrs, India Meteorological Department said here.

It epicentered of the Makran coast in Pakistan.

One killed by speeding car

Hyderabad, Nov 7 (UNI) One person was killed and three seriously injured in an accident near the State Secretariat in the city today. Police said a speeding car proceeding from Lakdikapul towards the Secretariat hit the four persons when they were crossing the road. The injured were shifted to the Osmania General Hospital. ONGC teams up with Hindujas for LNG and exploration

(ONGC) and Hinduja Group, today said they would jointly pursue global opportunities in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and linked Expoloration and Production (E&P) business in oil. The collaboration will leverage the E&P expertise of ONGC and the business-relationship advantage of the Hinduja Group in the hydrocarbon-rich West Asia, with business prospectivity benefits to both entities. Nepal polls in May-June next year: Deputy PM

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) Elections to the Constituent Assembly in Nepal will be held in next May-June, Deputy Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli said today. ''The final dates are yet to be con firmed but the election schedule shall be in May-June 2007,'' Mr Oli, who is also Nepal's Foreign Minister and currently visiting India, told UNI on the sidelines of a function here. We want ''re-settlement plan'' for affected traders from Centre: CM

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) With a view to providing a ''healing touch'' to those affected by the sealing drive, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today proposed a ''re-settlement plan'' on the lines of the plan for 'jhuggi' dwellers of the capital.
