ITDL plans Rs 20cr plant in Uttranchal by 2008

New Delhi, Nov 7: Indian Toners and Developers Ltd (ITDL), manufacturer of compatible black toners for photocopiers, laser printers, digital machines and multi-function printers, is setting up a Rs 20-crore manufacturing unit in Uttranchal.

''The company has already acquired two acres of land for the purpose and is investing Rs 20 crore for the project in Sitarganj, Uttranchal, which is expected to be complete in the next two years,'' company sources told UNI here today.

The unit will manufacture toners and developers, the sources added.

Also, ITDL has decided to open a representative office in China to increase the export of its products in the international market, the sources informed.

However, no further details were available.

Employing a highly automated and integrated Swiss/German plant, ITDL has a capacity to produce 1200 mt of toners per annum, which will be augmented to 2,400 mt by 2008.
