Hutch introduces World Calling Card

Hyderabad, Nov 7 (UNI) Hutch, one of the leading cellular service providers, has introduced 'World Calling Card', an economical, long distance calling solution for its postpaid and prepaid customers.

A Hutch release here today said 'World Calling Card', available in denominations of Rs 110 and Rs 550 would enable its customers in Andhra Pradesh to make STD and ISD calls at lower rates without making any security deposits towards subscription to the service.

Mumbai, Nov 7 (UNI) The rupee today touched a seven month high at 44.72/73 against the US dollar compared to the previous close of 44.865-/8750, due to heavy corporate selling pressure in the dollar, forex dealers said. Floral tributes paid to Jawan

Visakhapatnam, Nov 9 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to the mortal remains of Jawan B Jayaram Bachala brought to Naval Air Station, INS Dega here today. Mr Bachala died during operation Meghdoot on 'Siachen Glacier' a few days ago. The body was brought by an Indian Airlines flight from Delhi and handed over to his relatives. CII comes out with bi-annual survey on Pondy

Puducherry, Nov 7 (UNI) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Southern Region has come out with a bi-annual economic survey covering Puducherry to assess its performance in tourism, IT, automotive and auto compnent industries during the first half of the current fiscal. According to the survey, there was an increase by 35 per cent in the flow of tourists into the union territory during the six months period compared to 2005-06. Tourism revenues also.....

Talking to media here, he said of the 1,160 applications received for starting industrial units, 1,142 had been cleared through the system.
