Govt to examine affairs of Margadarsi Financiers: CM

Hyderabad, Nov 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the government would examine the affairs of Margadarsi Financiers following allegations against it.

With irregularities surfacing, Union Finance Minister P Chaidambaram had ordered an inquiry into that affairs of the firm, yesterday. It was alleged to have accepted deposits from public violating the rules and regulations.

Reacting to the charges of the firm management that the government was also involoved in raking up the issue, Dr Reddy said ''there is no conspiracy from the government side''.

Referring to TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu's statement that the government was attacking the firm vindictively, Mr Reddy said the allegation was unfounded.
