Hutch introduces SMS Flight booking

Kolkata, Nov 07: Telecom service providor Hutch today introduced booking of airline tickets and flight information through SMS.

Hutch has entered into an alliance with flightraja.com, a Bangalore based online travel portal to provide the service to its customers.

The service can be availed through an SMS to 6858. After the customer gets comparative information on real time basis, the flightraja executive would call back to complete the booking with payment options.

"Through this facility Hutch will provide its customers the convenience, freedom to plan and book air tickets in simple steps," Hutchison Essar Ltd's chief marketing officer Naveen Chopra said.
