Abhishek Pradhan scores easy win over Vivek Dehan

Mumbai, Nov 7 (UNI) Mumbai's top junior Abhishek Pradhan scored an easy boys under-13 third round win over Jindal's Vivek Dehan to sound a warning to his peers in the 31st HSBC-Bombay Gymkhana Maharashtra State Open Squash Championship at the Bombay Gymkhana here today.

The Don Bosco, Borivli, lad came through a comfortable 9-0, 9-2, 9-1 win over Jindal's Vivek Dehan to set the stage for a likely title clash with best friend Mahesh Mangaonkar.

The formidable Mangaonkar also demolished another Jindal rival when he beat a hapless Nitin Singh 9-1, 9-0, 9-1.

As the juniors hogged the limelight again, Aadit Zaveri enjoyed a rewarding day with third round wins in the boys' under-17 and under-15 categories.

Zaveri ended Jindal's Javed Mohammed's run with a 9-5, 9-1, 9-0 win in the under-17, and earlier ended the winning ways of Neville Tata following a 9-2, 9-1, 9-5 win in the under-15.

Vikas Jangra and Supreet Singh also came through easy third round ties in the Men's Open.
