7 Juveniles escape from remand home

Ara, Nov 7 (UNI) Altogether seven boys of a juveline home escaped in Ara last night.

According to police the boys broke open the window of the remand home and escaped.

A case was registered at Nawada police station. Raids were on to nab the boys.

Rowdy murdered near Chennai Central

Chennai, Nov 07 (UNI) An notorious rowdy wanted in several cases was brutally murdered by a gang in front of the busy Chennai Central Railway station here today. Constable guns down wife

Gulbarga, Nov 7 (UNI) A police constable of District Armed Reserve (DAR) today shot dead his wife with his service rifle, suspecting her fidelity. Police said that constable Siddharamappa picked up a quarrel with his wife, Saibavva (40) this morning and in a fit of rage, he fired two rounds at her from his service rifle. Mumbai, Nov 7: With a firm resolve to unitedly fight terror, British Foreign Minister Margaret Beckett called on Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and Mumbai Police Commissioner A N Roy at Mantralaya here today. Speaking to mediapersons after the meeting, Ms Beckett said her deliberations with Mr Deshmukh and Mr Roy centered around shared concerns like the recent experiences of dealing with terrorism, especially in view of the fact that the July Mumbai train blasts and the London underground.....

Bomb hit Azamgarh civil court

Azamgarh, Nov 7 (UNI) Panic prevailed in the civil court premises here today when an unidentified miscreant hurled three bombs. Police said of the three bombs hurled in front of the additional district court, only one exploded. However, no one was injured in the incident. Gurjars to agitate against massacre
