Lucknow, Nov 7: Two children were killed and 22 others injured when the school bus ferrying them fell from the Bawandara bridge in Muzaffarnagar city district this morning.

According to the police, the bus of S N Public School lost control and fell from the bridge after breaking the divider. It was carrying 28 children to the school.

Local villagers rescued 22 children. All the students were rushed to the hospital for mekdical aid as they sustained injuries.

Sources said four children are still found missing after the incident.

Senior police and district officials have rushed to the spot.

However, details are awaited.
