AIADMK, MDMK Councillor join DMK

Chennai, Oct 25 (UNI) AIADMK Councillor Subhash Chandra Bose and MDMK Councillor M Kanniappan elected to the Chennai Corporation from Ward-26 and Ward-40 respectively today joined the DMK in the presence of the party president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

A party release here said Mr Bose and Mr Kanniappan were welcomed by Mr Karunanidhi in the DMK headquarters at Anna Arivalayam in the city.

DMK General Secretary K Anbazhagan, Treasurer Arcot N Veerasamy, Dy General Secretary M K Stalin and Principal Secretary Duraimurugan, were among others present on the occasion.
