Union Bank of India Q2 net triples to Rs 194 crore

Mumbai, Oct 18 (UNI) Union Bank of India has posted a net profit of Rs 194.16 crore for the quarter ended September 30 this year as compared to Rs 61.10 crore for the corresponding quarter a year ago, a jump of 217.77 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 1,560.44 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 1964.13 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
