Two more patients undergo 'Dengue' treatment in AP

Visakhapatnam, Oct 18 (UNI) Two more patients suffering from 'Dengue' were admitted to The King George Hospital (KGH) today as the number of patients undergoing treatment in the city went up to seven, according to the District Medical and Health Officer P Jaganadham.

Mr Jaganadham said three patients were from Vizianagaram district, three from Srikakulam and one from East Godavari.

Elephant tramples man to death

Madikeri, Karnataka, Oct 18 (UNI) In a bizarre incident, an elephant being chased by villagers and forest personnel trampled to death a farmer at Ankanalli near Shanivarsanthe. Police said Suresh (36) was working in his field along with his brother when an elephant and calf, fearing the drums and crackers used by the chasers, ran towards Suresh and trampled him to death on the spot on Monday. The elephant had strayed from its herd.....
