Sunjay Dutt appears in TADA Court

Mumbai, Oct 18: Cinestar Sanjay Dutt along with 25 other blasts accused, who are on bail, today appeared before the designated TADA court as directed by Judge P D Kode.

Sanjay Dutt came to the court at 1105 hrs.

He went to the dock and sat next to co-accused Yusuf Nalwala and R K Singh.

He is one of the accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial Blasts.

Dutt appeared before the court following the directive of judge P D Kode, directing accused no 100 to 125 to be present in court today. Dutt is accused number 117.

The fate of Sanjay Dutt is likely to be decided after the Diwali vacation when the court resumes. The court will be closed from Oct 22 to Oct 29 and resume were on Oct 30.

Dutt is accused of posessing AK-56 rifles.

Photo journalist arrested for blackmailing Ludhiana Mayor

Ludhiana, Oct 18 (UNI) The city police today arrested a photo journalist, Amrik Singh Prince, under the Immoral Trafficking Act for blackmailing Ludhiana Mayor N S Gill. The accused was arrested following a complaint in which the Mayor stated that Prince had demanded Rs 20 lakh from him and in case of refusal, the lensman would make public his obscene pictures with a woman.
