Spl trains to Bangalore/Trichy to clear festival rush

Chennai, Oct 18 (UNI) Southern Railway today announced running of special trains in the Chennai-Tiruchirapalli and Chennai-Bangalore sectors to clear extra rush of passengers in connection with Diwali and Ramzan festivals.

A railway release here said the Tiruchirapalli-Chennai Egmore special would leave Tiruchirapalli at 2100 hrs on October 22 and arrive here at 0400 hrs, the next day.

In the return direction, the special would leave Chennai Egmore at 2300 hrs on October 23 and arrive Tiruchirapalli at 0600 hrs, the next day.

The Bangalore-Chennai special would leave Bangalore City at 2130 hrs on October 19 and arrive here at 0355 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, the special would leave Chennai at 2330 hrs on October 22 and arrive Bangalore City at 0740 hrs, the next day, the release added.
