SCR to run special train

Vijayawada, Oct 18 (UNI) In order to clear the extra rush of passengers due to Diwali and Ramzan, the South Central Railway (SCR) would run a special train between Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam tomorrow.

A railway official told UNI here today that a special train will leave Hyderabad tomorrow at 1600 hrs and reach Visakhapatnam at 0545 hrs, the next day.

In the return direction, the train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1755 hrs on October 20 and reach Hyderabad at 0845 hrs on October 21.

The tri-weekly Machilipatnam-Tirupati-Machilipatnam fast passenger would be stopped for one minute at Bapatla station henceforth, the official added.

Railway police to intensify security during Diwali season

Surat, Oct 18 (UNI) Special security measures including checking and combing in trains will be undertaken by the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF), during Diwali, railway police sources said here today. About 25 State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) personnel will also be deployed at Surat railway station, sources said. 11 child labourers freed in MP

Bhopal, Oct 18 (UNI) Eleven child labourers including ten minors, from West Bengal were rescued by the Labour department from the Sarafa area of Indore, official sources said today. Of the 10 children from West Bengal, 5 belonged to Burdwan, three to Midnapur and one each to Hooghly and Howrah districts.
