Eros to set up Rs 400 cr corporate park at Manesar

New Delhi, Oct 18 (UNI) Real estate and construction major Eros Group will spend Rs 400 crore on setting up a new corporate tower at IMT Manesar.

The project expected to be completed by the end of 2008, will have all the utilities to cater to the requirements of shops, offices, businesses and visitors. It will be modern and sophisticated with all the amenities and infrastructure essential to a business complex.

''Manesar-Gurgaon is soon going to be one of the most strategic location for corporate offices and trade towers and will witness emergence of the state-of-art industries in the region as the greenest industrial estates in the country,'' company's Director Avneesh Sood said.

The corporate tower will be spread over an area of 5,832 sq meters and will have huge floor plates of 60,000 sq ft.

Being a part of Gurgaon, the national capital region, Manesar would become hub of industry specific infrastructure, service ancillaries, commercial services and other essential services within a span of five years, due to its proximity to the airport, upcoming SEZs by Reliance and manufacturing units like Honda, Maruti, ACME Tele POwer in its vicinity, Mr Sood added.

Two VDC members rescued

Doda, oct 18 (UNI) Security forces rescued two Village Defence Committee (VDC) members from militants here today, police sources said. ''The VDC members, namely Ghulam Mohammad and Ghulam Hassan -- who were reportedly kidnapped along with two other hindu colleagues last week -- were rescued from Gundana forest area, about 40 kms from doda city,'' SSP Doda Manohar Singh told UNI. Cong-NCP alliance restricted to 4 districts for mun council polls

Mumbai, Oct 18 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) today said that it will have an alliance with the NCP and other secular parties in four districts of Raigad, Ratnagiri, Jalna and Beed for the ensuing November 19 elections to 166 Municipal Councils and two Nagar Panchayats. Addressing a press conference, MPCC spokesman Hussain Dalwai said the party had decided to go alone in the upcoming elections except in places where Congress was weak.....

BJP blames Govt for price rise, marring festive spirit
