6 IPS officers transferred

Bhopal, Oct 18 (UNI) In a minor reshuffle, six IPS officers of Madhya Pradesh were transferred, official sources said today.

Mr R S Meena, Assistant Inspector General of Police at the police headquarters, has been appointed Commandant 5th Bn Special Armed Force, Morena, Mr G P Uike posted as Commandant 35th Bn SAF Mandla, Superintendent of Police in PHq Vivek Sharma has been appointed Commandant 9th Bn SAF Rewa, while Mr R S Saket has been posted Commandant 6th Bn SAF Jabalpur.

SP (Railway) Indore V N Pachouri has been posted as Commandant 15th Bn SAF Indore and Indore's SAF 15th Bn Commandant Mayank Jain was posted as Railway SP Indore.

Delhi police hands over nabbed UNLF cadres

Shillong, Oct 18: Three Manipur-based United National Liberation Front (UNLF) militants arrested from the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi were brought to Shillong last night.
