24x7 Learning launches SkillBridge

Bangalore, Oct 18 (UNI) 24x7 Learning, the largest e-learning implementation company in the country, today announced the launch of 'SkillBridge', an employability enhancement programme aimed at upgrading behavioural and IT skills of fresh engineering and management graduates across the country.

The company, in a release here, said that with the country expected to face a talent shortage of over five lakh knowledge workers by 2010 and only 25 per cent of the fresh graduates employable by multinationals, SkillBridge was hitting the market at an appropriate time.

The eight-month SkillBridge programme focused on imparting the skills required to make the balance 75 per cent employable. It aimed at preparing the graduates by imparting critical skills such as communications, personality development, team work, spoken English and interview preparation, delivered in a blended and interactive manner (multimodal simulations, quizzes and on-site workshops).

The company planned to train around 20,000 students under this programme this fiscal, the release said.

Ipca Laboratories Q2 net doubles to Rs 35.40 crore
