Woman arrested for cheating bank of Rs 80 lakh

Bangalore, Sept 30 (UNI) City police today arrested a 35-year old woman on charges of cheating a bank of Rs 80 lakh.

Police said that Drakshayani from Basaveshwaranagar had cheated ICICI Bank in the city of the cash by producing fake documents.

They said that the accused was arrested when she tried to raise a loan of Rs 40 lakh for a second time.

They said she had taken a loan of Rs 45 lakh earlier by producing fake documents.

Police arrested her following the complaint lodged by the bank officials.

Jaipur, Sep 30 (UNI) A jawan posted at Lalgarh contonment in Sriganganagar district, has been arrested by the police on charges of murdering his new-born daughter. MFs net buyers in equities worth Rs 308.7 cr

Mumbai, Sept 30: Mutual Funds (MFs) turned net buyers in equities worth Rs 308.7 crore as on September 28, as they bought equity worth Rs 1,006.77 crore and sold equity worth Rs 698.07 crore.Till September 28, they were the net buyers in equities to the tune of Rs 1,218.6 crore, which was the highest over the last 94 trading days, according to Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI) data. MFs were also net buyers in debt.....

Dhar, MP, Sep 30 (UNI) Unidentified persons have killed a relative of Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Paras Jain and looted Rs 35,000 from his house in this district's Kanwan town, police said today.
