Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in March 2007

Mumbai, Sep 30: The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has announced that the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (autumn/winter showcase) will be held from March 21 to March 25 next year with an additional day solely dedicated for the buyer community.

The venue of the event will be decided later.

FDCI Director General Rathi Vinay Jha yesterday said, ''Following the success of our spring/ summer event earlier this month - evident from the fact that one of our most promising FDCI member designers Varun Behl was selected to showcase at the prestigious Milan Fashion Week - we are happy to announce and start planning for our next big event - Wills Lifestyle India fashion Week autumn/winter 2007 in March (21-25) next year.'' ''The platform will yet again have an additional day dedicated to the business of fashion for our national and international buyers, on Monday, March 26, 2007,'' he added.

ITC's Lifestyle Retailing Vice President - Marketing Atul Chand said, ''The association of ITC's Wills lifestyle with the country's most prestigious lifestyle event has been a phenomenal success since its inception and we would like to take it forward by setting more international bench mark in the fashion arena. We are confident that the upcoming autumn/winter 2007 edition will be a significant step towards this direction.'' NEW YORK, Sep 30 (Reuters) Electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve, which originates in the brain and then branches widely throughout the neck, chest and abdomen, seems to help some people with Alzheimer's disease, according to a new study.
