NTRUHS counselling begins Oct 6

Vijayawada, Sep 30: The Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) will hold counselling for admissions to the BAMS, BHMS and BNYS courses from October six.

NTRUSH Registrar P Jayakar Babu said rank holders who had applied for the respective courses in response to the university notification of June 17 were eligible to attend the counselling session for 497 seats in various colleges.

He said counselling for open competition seats would take place on October six, followed by BC seats in A B C and D Groups on October seven and SC, ST, Physically Challenged and Army seats on October eight.

Selected candidates should submit all the original certificates along with a DD for Rs 2,700 drawn in favour of the registrar.

No individual intimation would be sent again to the candidates and those absent on the day of the counselling and at the time announced would be considered ineligible for admission, he said.

Madikeri Kannada Sahitya Parishad warns merchants

Madikeri, Sept 30: District Kannada Sahitya Parishad President T P Ramesh has warned merchants against displaying boards in alien languages.
