JIPMER employees thank AIADMK for support

Chennai, Sep 30 (UNI) JIPMER employees, led by agitation committee President M Ashokan today called on AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa and thanked her for the party's support to their fight against the Centre's move to give autonomy to the institution.

The employees, including nurses and other para-medical staff thanked the AIADMK for moving to the Madras High court on their behalf against the autonomous status, which ensured revocation of suspension of the employees.

Ms Jayalalithaa assured her continued support when the employees requested the former Chief Minister to offer her continued support till they achieved final victory.

AIADMK legal advisor N Jothi, MP, party's Puducherry Unit Secretary A Anbazhagan, MLA and party's Nellithope Legislator Omsakthi were present on the occasion, a party release said here.
