Cong leader, son joins BSP

Lucknow, Sep 30 (UNI) Congress leader and former Uttar Pradesh MLA D P Bora today joined the BSP along with his hundreds of supporters.

Addressing a news conference here, BSP general secretary and former state minister Naseem-ud-din Siddiqui said Mr Bora and his son Dr Neeraj Bora had joined the party along with their 620 supporters.

''I was feeling suffocated in Congress, where internal-bickering have risen manyfold,'' Mr Bora claimed on the occasion.

The former MLA said he had joined the BSP unconditionally and would discharge any responsibility bestowed on him by the party.

'Death penalty of Afzal should not be commuted'
