Bharatiya Kisan Sangh call off agitation

Sriganganagar, Sep 30 (UNI) The agitating farmers, under the banner of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh for payment of their dues of mustard procured by the government on Support Price, today called off their agitation following an appeal by area MP and film star Dharmendra.

Addressing the farmers here, Dharmendra said he had taken up the matter with the Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar.

He said he also wrote to the Prime Minister on the farmers demand. He gave an assurance that the famrers would get their outstanding dues within two weeks and asked them to return to the farms.

India not shared Mumbai blasts evidence: Pak

Islamabad, Sept 30: Pakistan today said India had shown no evidence of Pakistani involvement in the July 11 Mumbai railway blasts after Indian police blamed Pakistani intelligence and a Pakistani-linked militant group for the attack.''India has always chosen this path of pointing fingers at Pakistan without evidence,'' Tariq Azim Khan, Minister of State for Information, told Reuters.''If they have any evidence, they should provide us evidence and we will carry out our investigations.'' Blake downs Safin to make Thai Open final
