We are capable of making rockets: Maoists

Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI) Police need not be complacent with the seizure of rockets and rocket launchers as the Naxalites are capable of making these weapons themselves, according to CPI-Maoists spokespersonsman Janardhan.

In a statement here today, Mr Janardhan said, Naxalites already possessed rockets and launchers and these would be aimed at police stations, the elite anti-naxal force Grey Hounds, wicked policemen, policy makers, agents of the imperialists and reactionary forces.

Even if policemen unearth some more dumps, the CPI (Maoists) would not suffer serious loss, he said. It would be impossible for the police to stop the supply of weapons to them, he added.

The Maoist representative alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Home Minister K Jana Reddy and police officers, were making false propaganda that weapons acquired by Naxalites posed a threat to national security.
