SlashSupport appoints Sr VP

Chennai, Sep 22 (UNI) SlashSupport, advanced technology support and IM services provider, has appointed Mr Ahmar Abbas as Senior Vice President of ManageInfra, its Global IM Division, In his new role, Mr Abbas will oversee the successful deployment of services, provide strategic vision, guidance and drive business development efforts.

SlashSupport is part of the 4000 people CSS Group, which also has ReadyTestGo and Cybernet Software Systems under its fold.

SlashSupport has over 3,000 professionals employed at its four offshore facilities in Chennai.

The company, which has over 30 global customers, including NTT and Alcatel. SlashSupport also has an onsite facility in San Jose, California.

Mumbai, Sept 22: Indian currency today opened strong by five paise at Rs 45.80/81 per US Dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 45.85/87 per US Dollar, a trader in the money market said.In the mid morning trade, rupee was trading at Rs 45.93/94 per US Dollar.The stock market too opened strong, however, is currently trading down at 12,238.84 points.
