Pak national arrested with kidnapped child

Gurdaspur, Sep 22 (UNI) The Railway Police today arrested a Pakistan national at Pathankot railway station and also recovered a child from him who was kidnapped for ransom.

The Pak national, identified as Mohammad Shafi, had kidnapped the child from Kasba Badi Brahmin in Jammu and Kashmir earlier this week, police said.

Significantly, the accused was one of those 15 Pak nationals, who had not returned back to their country after getting visa for a cricket match in Mohali last year, police added.

The Railway Police nabbed the culprit acting on a tip-off from the Jammu and Kashmir police.
