Chamber welcomes High Court order to quash ban on colas

Kochi, Sep 22 (UNI) The Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry today welcomed the Kerala High Court verdict quashing the State Government's order to ban manufacture and sale of Coca Cola and Pepsi. In a statement here, Chamber President John K Paul urged the government to come out with guidelines for the production of soft drinks, which would be abided by the manufacturers. It showed that the government was misguided or not been given complete.....

Summary revision of electoral rolls in Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 22 (UNI) The Election Commission is undertaking a major 'cleaning up' drive of the electoral rolls in the national capital before the crucial municipal polls. The EC ordered a special summary revision of electoral rolls in all the 70 assembly constituencies in the city. Preparatory work for this had already started from August 21 and interaction with the public would be conducted from October 6 to 26, Delhi Chief Electoral Officer.....
