Chennai, Sep 22: Mahindra and Mahindra, the market leader in utility vehicles in the country, has drawn up plans to capture 50 per cent market share in the small cargo four-wheeler segment, with the launch of  "MaXX Maxi Truck and Bolero Pik Up FB."

Addressing a press conference here after the launch of the two vehicles here, Mr Vivek Nayer, Vice President, Marketing said the company was already enjoying 33 per cent market share in the small cargo segment and the introduction of the new vehicles would help it tap additional market share.

"We are confident of enhancing our market share to at least 50 per cent at the end of this fiscal.

With the industry growing at 21 per cent, it will not be difficult for the company to increase its market share to 50 per cent," he said.
