IGL declares 25 per cent dividend for 05-06

New Delhi, Sep 22 (UNI) The Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), sole supplier of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in the capital, presented a dividend of Rs 1.75 crore to Delhi Lt.

Governor B L Joshi today on behalf of Delhi government for 2005-06.

The IGL, a joint venture company of GAIL (India) Ltd and BPCL, recorded a turnover growth of 15.4 per cent and net profit growth of 14.5 per cent in 2005-06 over the previous year.

As against 20 per cent dividend in 2004-05, it declared a dividend of 25 per cent this year, an official statement said.

Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI) Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema in next 24 hours. According officials of Meteorological Department, rain occurred at a few places over Telangana. Isolated rain occurred over Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema. AP CM lays foundation stone for 'Aga Khan Education Academy'

Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today laid the foundation stone for setting up 'Aga Khan Educational Academy' on 100 aacres of land, near Ravirala village, in Rangana Reddy district. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Reddy said the state government was committed to help the Aga Khan Foundation for extending its services to the people of the state.
