Pune, Sep 22 (UNI) Heavy to very rains are likely to occur at most places in Jharkhand, Bihar, Konkan and Goa.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in Chattisgarh, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Saurashtra and Kutch.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Orissa, east Uttar Pradesh, Lakshadweep and at a few places in east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, south Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.

The Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous over Ganegtic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar and active over Assam, Meghalaya, Orissa, Konkan and Goa. It has been subdued over Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan.

Day temperatures were above normal in west Rajasthan from where the Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn.

Heavy to very rains have occurred at most places in Gangetic West Bengal while heavy rains have occurred at most places in Jharkhand.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Bihar, Chattisgarh, Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and at many places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Uttaranchal, Vidarbha and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and at isolated places in east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
