First Howrha-Delhi puja special runs

Kolkata, Sep 22 (UNI) The Howrah-New Delhi Puja special train started running from Howrah this evening as Eastern Railway is set to run altogether 90 special trains to clear the festive rush this season.

Of these, 34 trains will rund between Howrah and New Delhi, 14 between Howrah and Jodhpur, 12 each between Howrah and Alipurduar, Sealdah and New Jalpaiguri and Sealdah and Guwahati.

According to Railway sources, for the first time this year Eastern Railwayh is running special trains between Sealdah and Puri via Barddhaman-Durgapur-Asansol.

Moreover, 14 trains will also be run between Guewahati and Yesvantpur via Howrah his year, the sources said.

Govt releases one lakh tonne additional non-levy sugar
