Jharkhand cabinet expansion soon: Koda

Ranchi, Sep 22: Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said the Cabinet expansion would be effected soon.

Mr Koda after meeting UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad in New Delhi told reporters at the Birsa Munda airport here that his government would go for the Cabinet expansion soon.

UPA sources here said talks were held yesterday with the senior UPA leaders in New Delhi.

The Cabinet expansion would be effected after maintaining unanimity among the UPA partners in Jharkhand, sources added.

Mr Koda was sworn in as Chief Minister on September 18 with three other Ministers - Mr Kamlesh Singh, Mr Anos Ekka and Mr Harinarain Rai - in his Cabinet.
