Sambalpur, Sep 22 (UNI) The Jharsuguda police have arrested seven persons including one sub-inspector on charges of illegal possession of one million US dollars.

Jharsuguda Superintendent of Police Santosh Bala said the US Treasuries Department had been informed about the huge recovery of US dollars from the arrested.

'' Since last two month we were trying to nab the people involved in the racket,''Ms Bala said.

The police also apprehends the involvement of some more influential people is the fraud.

Giving the information to newspersons here today GRP, SP Bharati Arora disclosed that any body could get information about the missing persons in the last five years after looking at photographs and other particulars displayed at her office near the general bus stand,.....

GTDC makes turn around, poised for growth with ambitious plans

Panaji, Sep 22 (UNI) The state-owned Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has registered a dramatic turn around during 2005-06 by posting a net profit of Rs 24.64 lakh as against Rs 4.69 lakh in the previous fiscal.
