Gadkari blames Mah govt for malnutrition deaths

Mumbai, Sep 21 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP President Nitin Gadkari today blamed the Congress-NCP government in the state for the death of 7,700 children in last one year due to malnutrition.

It was unfortunate that the High Court had passed the stricutres on state government on this issue Mr Gadkari said in a release issued here.

He said it would not be proper to hold only officers for this incident but even the ministers should be held responsible and action should be taken against them.

Mr Gadkari said the medical facility is still not available in rural areas even today and stressed the need to take firm steps to solve this problem.

Talks with Congress only on Telangana: TRS Chief

Hyderabad, Sep 21 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) Founder-President K Chandrasekhara Rao today ruled out going back on his move to resign from the Lok Sabha and said any talks with the Congress will be only on creation of a separate Telangana. Minister flays Jaya's claims on chickungunya deaths

Chennai, Sep 21 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Health Minister K K S S R Ramachandran tonight dismissed as 'fake' the list of chikungunya fatalities released by AIADMK General Secretary and Former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa asserting the disease was not fatal. District-wise Committee to be set up for LB polls: TNCC

Chennai, Sep 21 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) President M Krishnasswamy today said district-wise Committee would be set up for the ensuing local body elections in Tamil Nadu.
