Businessman shoots family members, kills himself

Hyderabad, Sep 16 (UNI) A businessman allegedly shot at three of his family members before killing himself in the wee hours here today.

While the businessman Kumar Goud and his son Manjunath died on the spot, his wife Rajeswari and daughter Nikita were admitted to the city hospital in critical condition.

According to police, Rajeswari telephoned her parents around 0200 hrs that she was shot by her husband. By the time the relatives reached the spot, Kumar Goud and his son Manjunath Goud had already died.

Rajeswari and Nikhita, who were seriously injured were rushed to the Government Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad, where their condition was stated to be critical, police added.

Light rainfall occurs in MP

Bhopal, Sep 16 (UNI) Light rainfall occurred at isolated places in Jabalpur and Indore divisions in Madhya Pradesh during the last 24 hours.
