Virinchi Technologies names new CEO

New Delhi, Sep 13: Virinchi technologies ltd, a software products and services company based out of Hyderabad with global clientele, today named Anil Kumar Pinapala as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Mr Pinapala succeeds Mr Viswanath Kompella who will continue as the Chairman and Managing Director of Virinchi. Mr Pinapala, who was the Senior Vice President, Business Development, of the company, was named as the Executive Director earlier this month.

Addressing the company officials after taking over as the new CEO, Mr Pinapala said he plans to grow the Virinchi brand across all markets with focus on North America and expand the business lines too.

The decision to appoint Mr Pinapala as the CEO comes in line with the objective of being a 100 million dollars company by 2010.

In this regard, the company had earlier announced induction of two of its management employees on to the board, including Mr Pinapala.

Virinchi is an e-Business solutions provider in the areas of micro lending, enterprise procurement and logistics solutions and custom application development on a global delivery model. The company is also listed in BSE and Hyderabad stock exchange.

Nigeria to enhance crude supply to India

New Delhi, Sep 13 (UNI) Nigeria will hike crude oil supplies to India by enhancing the term contract volume and speed up the process of setting up a refinery in the West African state by India. Militants reject, mainstream leaders welcome CM's ceasefire offer

Srinagar, Sep 13 (UNI) Militant organisations have rejected Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad's ceasefire offer while the mainstream parties have welcomed it describing it as a bold step to bring peace in state.
