US company launches Navratna jewellery collection in India

Kolkata, Sep 13 (UNI) Planetary Gemstones, a wholly owned subsidiary of leading American Publishing Incorporate Torchlight, today announced the All India launch of Navratna Jewellery collection in accordance with the nine Vedia astrological gemstones.

Speaking at a formal launching ceremony here this evening Torchlight Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Alister Taylor said following astounding success of the same collection in the USA and other parts of the globe they had decided to target the hugely expanding Indian market, especially the young Indians.

Claiming that the new collection was aimed at helping the wearer with diversified benefits from powerful energies emitted from each of the nine Vedic planets, Mr Taylor said when worn together they help deliver the benefits of all nine planetary gemstones simultaneously.

Regarding his business plans in India, Mr Taylor said within the next four years they were looking forward towards touching a business volume of Rs100 crores from 1500 exclusive outlets across the country.

''We are also planning to tie up with different shopping malls for displaying our products,'' the Torchlight CEO said and referred to his plans to introduce several more products.

''Presently we are launching nine different jewellery products including attractive pendants with a number of several other designs remaining in the pipelines,'' Mr Taylor said.

He said initially the entire range of handcrafted products in India would be sourced from Jaipur, considerd to be the Mecca of ornamental jewellery collection, before deciding to widen the production base further.

The introductory price range of Navratna Collection varied between Rs 1500 to Rs 3500 each, Mr Taylor said.

Gorakhpur, Sep 12 (UNI) The haunting Japanese Encephalitis (JE) toll in Uttar Pradesh today reached a staggering figure of 151, following the death of three children. Nadiad hospital ties up with US hospital for research collaboration

Anand, Sep 13 (UNI) An urological hospital at Nadiad today inked a pact with a USA-based medical centre for developing advanced pediatric service, training and research in the field of pediatric urology and its allied branches.
