Sundaram Multipap enters publication biz with a book on "retailing"

Mumbai, Sept 13 (UNI) Sundaram Multi Pap Ltd, a BSE listed company and pioneer in manufacturing of educational paper stationery, has diversified into publication business.

In its first phase, the company has launched ''How to stay ahead in retail'' a book on retail marketing by marketing guru Mr Ashwin Merchant, said a press release.

Apart from English, the book has been launched in three languages -- Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati.

The book deals with typical problems of developing country like India where the retail culture in metro cities is undergoing a tremendous change from small retail outlets to the advent of super markets and malls every day, the release said.

It also provides tips and techniques, especially, to the small&medium traders, as to how such competition and emerger victorious.

One crore rural Indians to get employment by next year

Kolkata, Sept 13 (UNI) Union Rural Development Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh today said more than one crore people would find employment under different rural development programmes of the Centre by next year. Committee formed to maintain weigh bridge at Ottinene

Gang of auto lifters busted

New Delhi, Sep 13 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted a gang of auto lifters with the arrest of three people.
