Rupee opens flat at Rs 46.26/27/USD

Mumbai, Sept 13: Indian currency today opened flat at Rs 46.26/27 per US Dollar compared to previous close of Rs 46.27/28 per US Dollar yesterday, said a money market trader.

In the mid-morning trade Rupee was however trading down at Rs 46.32/33 per US Dollar the trader added.

BSE sensex too opened strong and was currently trading 178 points up at 11,838 points.

SINGAPORE, Sep 13 (Reuters) Oil edged up above $64 a barrel on Wednesday as traders cautiously await the debate among members of the U.N. nuclear watchdog over Iran's atomic work, and on renewed concerns over disruptions to Nigerian supplies. Prices had fallen for seven-straight sessions to the lowest mark in almost six months on Tuesday after Iran sounded a softer note on its nuclear plan, OPEC agreed to keep supplies steady and BP raised.....

Baghdad, Sep 13: A total of 60 unidentified bodies have been found in various parts of Baghdad over the past 24 hours, an Interior Ministry source said today.The unusually high 24-hour tally was recorded despite a month-old security crackdown in Iraq's capital by US and Iraqi troops.The source said most bodies were bound and shot in the head and many bore signs of torture -- trademarks of sectarian death squads and kidnap gangs plaguing the capital......
