Realtor kidnapped in AP, Rs one cr ransom sought

Hyderabad, Sep 13 (UNI) Abductors of a real estate dealer here are demanding a ransom of Rs one crore.

Police said G K Raju was abuducted during his morning walk today near his Banjara Hills Residence and taken in a van by his captors.

They later called up his wife and sought Rs one crore in ransom and warned that her husband would be killed if anyone tipped off the police.

Later, the family's relatives rushed to her house and alerted the police who are investigating the case.

Anand, Sept 13 (UNI) Local Crime Branch seized Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL) near Boriyavi village, 8 kms from here on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai highway in the wee hours today. Hisar, Sep 13 (UNI) Four people have been arrested by the district police for being involved in the alleged molestation of a girl student in Vishwas Public School being run by Vishwas Foundation here. Anand, Sep 13 (UNI) Angry school and college students created commotion here today morning at the main inter-district bus stand protesting against the State Transport controller's behaviour. Around 150 students who come daily from Bharoda, Ode, Sarsa, Tamburaj and Kanpur villages had accosted the controller and told him that they had already given representation in writing for direct bus service to their villages.
