One arrested in Pepsi manager's death in Mall case

New Delhi, Sept 13 (UNI) Police today arrested one person in connection with the death of a deputy manager of a popular soft drinks company at a posh mall in Rajouri Garden area of West Delhi yesterday.

Site Incharge of Movietimes Cineplex Pvt Ltd, the company tasked with the infrastructure developemnt of the 4th floor of West Gate Mall, Kulwant Singh was arrested today on charges of 'negligence of duty, according to a police official.

''He was charged under Section 304 (A).'' B K Agarwal (38), Deputy Manager with Pearl Drinks Ltd, bottlers of Pepsi Cola in Delhi, had fallen from the 4th floor of West Gate Mall in Rajouri Garden yesterday evening.

Agarwal, a resident of Rohini, had gone on some official work to the Mall, partially under construction, and accidently slipped from the fourth floor.

The Mall had opened about a fortnight back.

Vadodara, Sep 13 (UNI) Disputing the authority's claim that only 912 families in Vadodara city were eligible to get cash doles for being affected by recent floods, former BJP minister Nalin Bhatt today demanded immediate release of cash doles to about 19000 families claimed to have been affected due to the natural calamity.
