NESO executives held

Guwahati, Sep 13 (UNI) The crucial executive meeting of the North East Students organisation (NESO), held here today, discussed the present scenario of the North East.

The meeting was presided over by NESO president Dr Samujjal Kr Bhattacharrya and General Secretary N S N Lotha. NESO representatives from all the seven states took part.

The next general conference is supposed to be held at Tripura but due to the forthcoming puja it was postponed for a later date.

NESO advisor Artex Shimray was also present in the meeting.

Germany plans to send up to 2,400 troops to W. Asia

DAMASCUS, Sep 13: A fourth man who took part in the attack on the US embassy in Damascus has died of his wounds, the official Syrian news agency said today.The four men who carried out the attack in the centre of the Syrian capital were all Syrians, SANA agency said.''The fourth terrorist died from severe wounds.
