Anand, Sep 13 (UNI) An urological hospital at Nadiad today inked a pact with a USA-based medical centre for developing advanced pediatric service, training and research in the field of pediatric urology and its allied branches.
By this agreement, the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Centre (CCHMC) will train one urologist of the Nadiad-based Muljibhai Patel Urological hospital (MPUH) for two years in pediatric urology in Cincinnati. It will send its experts to MPUH to undertake diagonistics and surgical camps. It will also give short-term training to staff in the supporting fields like pediatric anesthesiology, radiology and nephrology. CCHMC residents will also visit MPUH for getting trained in newer techniques of stone management.
A team of US-based doctors are already in India and would be operating on 24 patients. They will also take part in the Pediatric Congress to be held in Goa.
