Bangalore, Sep 13 (UNI) Dax Networks, a networking company, has introduced the PatchSee series of Intelligent Patch Cords in the country, empowering network administrators to troubleshoot and manage their networks with unprecedented ease.
Company Country Manager Surendar K told reporters here today that the new product was an affordable ingelligent procuct that the global structured cabling industry had sought for more than a decade.
With the PatchSee Intelligent Patch Cords, identification of the extremities of an RJ45 patch cord became extremely easy, thereby significantly reducing network downtime. This was possible because the patch cord came with patchlight, a light injection tool, and when this light source was plugged into one end of the patch cord, the other end of the cord would glow, he said.
''Companies that invest in PatchSee Intelligent Patch Cord automatically win the battle against cable conspiracy and are assured of enhanced productivity. With a marginal additional investment of one per cent on the enterprise customer's networking spend, the time and cost of maintaining the network comes down by 12 to 15 per cent annually. This translates to huge savings on the company's operation,'' Mr Surendar said.
The patch cord came with a system of removable 16 different colour clips, useful in implementing a colour coding system. Another highlight of the new product was that they were interoperable with any brand of cabling components, he said, adding that Dax planned to market this product through its strong channel spread across the country.
