Brasilia, Sept 13 (UNI) India's efforts to promote its civilian nuclear programme got a boost today with both Brazil and South Africa supporting ''forward-looking'' approaches to enhance international cooperation in this sphere.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressed appreciation for this move in his address to the plenary summit of the first India-Brazil- -South Africa (IBSA) summit her.
The move assumes significance as Brazil currently holds the Chair of the 44-member Nuclear Suppliers' Group (NSG) while South Africa is one of its members.
